
While Converse was producing the All
Star II, adidas wasn't letting them get all the
canvas basketball shoe market. They had the Shooting Star, shown to the left, as
one of their models. Note that adidas flip-flopped the ankle patch to the wrong
side; an obvious play to the marketing department!
